Welcome to Brant Lake

 We were looking for a peaceful weekend and we got it. But it is also a great location to many area adventures. So whatever you are looking for this is the place. A little walk to the water but sitting on the dock was very nice. We cooked in all weekend so can't speak of restaurants but Jim had lots of ideas. I loved doing dishes and watching the deer. If it's your thing, the TV came in great. If you are going to cook in you may need plastic wrap or leftover containers. Jim was so pleasant. So nice to meet a friendly person for a change. Thank you Jim. We will certainly be returning and telling our friends about Arrowhead. Thank you, you were just what we needed.

 What a hidden gem! Getaway with my daughter was everything I'd hoped and more. Jim was welcoming, friendly, and offered great suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the area. Even if we just wanted to hang out on site, it would've been perfect. The cabin had AMAZING views of the lake, was spotless, and had everything we needed for a much needed couple of days of relaxation. I think Jim even arranged for pristine weather for us! Arrowhead was close to everything we wanted to do while we were here. This was my first time booking with Airbnb, and was a great experience thanks to Jim. Will be returning to Arrowhead in the future for sure!

 We were sad to leave and can’t wait to return! Jim is incredibly friendly, accommodating and informative about the area. He was like our next door neighbor while we were there-available to help, but gave us our privacy. The space is a fully equipped studio apartment. The grounds are well maintained. The view is amazing and there is so much to do in the area: Bolton Landing, Lake George, hiking, etc. Definitely worth every penny!!! It was so nice there, we got engaged!!!

 Just returned from a wonderful stay at Jim's place. The place is lovely, contemporary rustic decor that is squeaky clean. Jim lists the amenities and they are all as described. Everything we wanted and needed. Bed is super comfortable. The property/land is very beautiful. Looks out on Brant lake- there is a path that goes down to the property dock. Also deck chairs nearer the lake as well as a front porch to the guest house. Jim is a lovely, helpful host. Any questions, he is easy to reach and will be there to help if needed. Very knowledgeable of the immediate area and exploring the Adirondacks in general. He is full of recommendations and directions to match. It's very clear that he loves where he is. We did a lot of exploring and found this well located. We would definitely recommend this place. Super host describes Jim perfectly. Should we pass this way again, we hope this place will be available. Enjoy a visit!

 We had a truly fabulous stay at Jim’s place. The studio itself was perfect for a couple - nicely furnished, and well equipped. Jim was a great host with lots of tips on what to see and do as well as where to eat. He was available to answer any questions we had and also just to chat, which we appreciated greatly. The location was beautiful. Watching the light change on Brant Lake from either the big picture window in the studio or down by the lake itself was a highlight of each and every day we stayed there. It was so pretty we found it hard to drag ourselves away to go visit some of the surrounding areas of interest, of which there are many. Definitely one of our best Airbnb experiences ever.

 Jim helpt je graag, is vriendelijk en wil je verblijf onvergetelijk maken. Zo konden wij gebruik maken van zijn kano en even een wasje tussendoor doen. Hij gaf ons ook goede tips over de dingen die in de omgeving te doen zijn. 

( Jim is happy to help, is friendly and want to make your stay memorable. This allowed us to use his canoe and do a laundry in between. He also gave us good tips about the things to do in the area. )

 Jim was a great host with good communication. The place was decorated and had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the dock at the lake, relaxing and having wine while watching the sun set.

 Super great outdoorsy retreat, quiet and peaceful, yet plenty to do in both nature or towns close by. Jim is a wonderful host, very accommodating and friendly. I found his guest house comfortable like home but with that Adirondack feel, location just heavenly with all the nature to soak up. Definitely recommend, and would love to go back!
